Making a Difference with Pickleball: A Charity Event to Support a Great Cause
Pickleball enthusiasts and cat lovers alike are invited to join us for a charity event that will raise funds for TNR Mecosta to continue its mission to reduce the cat overpopulation in Mecosta County. On Sunday, April 16, we will be hosting a pickleball tournament at the Racquet & Fitness Center at Ferris State University. The fun begins at noon.
The tournament will be open to players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball player or a beginner, this is your chance to have fun while making a difference in your community.
If you have little to no experience with pickleball, the “learn” session would be a great chance to see why this sport is growing so fast with certified professionals giving instruction.
More seasoned players can sign up for the co-ed tournament event, where they could win a trophy!
In addition, TNR Mecosta has some wish list items you can drop off at the Racquet Facility if you’d like to donate: Canned KMR (kitten milk replacer), canned cat food, dry cat food (for our clients who could use assistance feeding their colony), plastic totes and gorilla tape for building winter cat shelters.
Registration for the tournament is now open, so don’t miss your chance to sign up and make a difference! Visit these websites to register and learn more about the event. We hope to see you there!
